VITAMIN IM INJECTIONS
At Ryo, various types of intramuscular (IM) injections are used to deliver therapeutic nutrients deep into your body. By injecting vitamins and minerals directly into the muscles, this treatment is considered faster-acting than oral medication. Also, as they bypass the digestive tract, it avoids being digested and a lot more of these nutrients can reach target tissues with a higher absorption rate than oral medication.
WHAT TO EXPECT FOR YOUR FIRST VISIT
Vitamin IM injections are part of your treatment plan. New patients must book an initial 15-minute consultation with our naturopathic doctor prior to determining if a vitamin IM injection is a good option for you. Please bring a list of your current medications, supplements and/or botanical medicine along with the copies of your most recent blood tests and other relevant health exams that you feel important to show your naturopathic doctor during your first visit so that our naturopathic doctor can make a safe, therapeutic plan for you. Each treatment will be uniquely formulated to support your specific health needs.
